Customer Support
If you need advice on how to prepare your digital
files for submission to our equipment please feel free to contact us. We
will have a specialist analyze your job and let you know how to create
your files.
In general we highly recommend PDF format. Using
Adobe Acrobat you should create your file with PRESS QUALITY standards.
Complete Details including illustrations are in this
brochure. By using these standards you will ensure the highest
quality possible for your photos and graphics and all your fonts will be
embedded within your PDF for error-free printing.
IU students can find
Acrobat installed in many computer labs and the main library computers.
If you do not have the full version of
Adobe Acrobat you will not be able to create PDF files. If you are
interested in creating the files but you don't have the budget for the
full version of Acrobat, you might want to experiment with this software
(we have done preliminary testing but cannot attest to the overall
functionality of this software). After you install this software, which
appears as a printer on your system, make the following adjustments to the
default printing preferences: Resolution should be set to 2540dpi; Fonts
should be set to DOWNLOAD AS SOFTFONT.

Traditional Copying
If you are not ready for digital file submission you can always submit
hard copy. Feel free to call us if you need guidance in preparing your
original. As always, a good B&W original with adequate margins will yield
the best results.
