Creating Digital Files

We can output your computer files in both B&W or color.

We can output your files from the following native application files: Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point from a PC disk.

FOR TREMENDOUS SAVINGS, consider creating a postscript or PDF file. Creating PDF files requires a software package but POSTSCRIPT files are created with freely available printer drivers. To submit postscript files you simply download and install the appropriate printer driver on your computer.


There are a number of technical issues users should be aware of when requesting output of files:

  
  • When printing from native applications (such as Word), documents may reflow when opened. This means page-breaks and other details of the document may print differently than what you expected;
  • Any fonts you used in your document that are not on our system will be replaced;
  • Graphics which you had linked to your original document may not print if you fail to embed them in your document.
  

Creating postscript or PDF files allows you to overcome all of the above issues, provided you correctly configure the software. Once this is done, however, it is good forever and you needn't worry about all the pesky details involved in printing from applications.
